Our clients range from government, not for profit organisations, property funds, private investors, universities, builders and developers. We are specialists in providing strategic advice across the property spectrum, sourcing property deals on point with requirements, connecting likeminded groups together by putting together clubs of investors to buy properties and driving value improvement.
Drawing on expertise in Australia, the UK and New Zealand, we think outside the box and are creative in our approach to finding outcomes. Our attitude towards investing is based on fundamentals of a particular sector, the market and the opportunity to drive value.
In parallel to adding value and creating wealth via property acquisitions and asset management, we are driven by a strong sense of purpose in the fields of improving the environment for the next generations, enhancing the built form to enable a better lifestyle for people, especially those with a disability and enabling more people to live in their own home in a more affordable manner.
Richard Horne, Director and founder. Richard has enjoyed a diverse property career spanning over 3 decades, during which he has been responsible for establishing the Australian retail division, subsequently Managing Director, New Zealand for CBRE, a Regional Board Member and Managing Director NSW for Knight Frank.
During these executive roles, he gained a full spectrum of experience, dealing with a wide range of local and international property groups resulting in the establishment of Halesmith, which has helped platforms such as Western Sydney University, New South Wales Government, Blackstone, Nuveen, Realside Property and Sylvanvale optimise their property outcomes.
Richard has held a number of key directorships and board roles including being an independent member of the City Of Sydney Planning Committee, the NSW Placemaking Board, a Non-executive director of Mainbrace Constructions, Chair of the Western Sydney Chapter of the Property Council, as well as various charity and community service boards. He was also a founding member of the Large Format Retailers Association and was awarded their inaugural annual “Warwick Sheddan” award for services to the industry.
